Subsidies in Other Federal Provinces for job seekers

Education Voucher, Chamber of Labour Burgenland

The Chamber of Labour - Education Bonus applies to selected IT and language courses as well as training in the field of personal development offered by the Vocational Training Institute Burgenland.

For individuals who wish to train in their learned profession or seeking to change careers.

Development support of Carinthia

Promotion of vocational training and retraining of workers and independent contractors, employees who are on maternity leave (eg parental leave) and returnees to the labour force.

Level of support: maximum of € 2,500 within a funding period of 5 years

Women´s Development Fund Carinthia

Funding for women who require vocational training in order to achieve a higher income, who want to enter or return to work or have to change direction professionally.

Level of support: maximum € 2,500, monthly maximum of € 250 contribution towards cost of living

Lower Austria support

Promotes job specific training of workers, women returning to work and social benefit recipients with a primary residence in Lower Austria and Austrian citizenship (or equivalent).

Level of support: 50% or 80% of course fees to a maximum of € 2,640 within 6 years of initial application.

Subsidies for private customers throughout Austria
Federal Social Services Office

fit2work, an austrian federal social service provider, helps employers, employees, job seekers, and the unemployed persons to return to employment; especially those who have become unemployed previously because of a sick leave.  The support areas include information distribution, advice and support on issues of mental and physical health in the workplace. The aim of fit2work is to prevent and avoid persons of working age leaving the workface ahead of time (early retirement or long term sick leave) by providing accessible information and advice. Fit2work uses the existing provision of various facilities to provide guidance, advice and support from a single competent source.
